BREAKING : Jose Mourinho appointed as new Roma manager
Jose Mourinho has been appointed as the new manager of Serie A side Roma.
Mourinho was sacked by Tottenham last month after a disappointing season..
But he will now replace Paulo Fonseca when he steps down from the Italian club at the end of the season.
A Roma statement read: “The club are delighted to announce an agreement has been reached with Jose Mourinho for him to become our new head coach ahead of the 2021-22 season.”
The former Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Porto and Inter Milan manager told the Roma website: “Thank you to the Friedkin family for choosing me to lead this great club and to be part of their vision.
