Resident Doctors Begin Nationwide Strike
Resident doctors in Nigeria have begun a nationwide strike as we speak.
The industrial strike commenced on Thursday and this comes despite the Federal Government’s last-minute efforts to let them drop the action..
They announced the strike action in a recent post they made on their official social media handle on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
The post reads;
“Nigerians must understand that we love them and the strike is not intended to hurt them but to challenge the Nigerian government @MBuhari @Fmohnigeria @LabourMinNG whose responsibilities amongst others is to care for her citizens and labour force to do the needful. #IstanWithNARD”
