“Don’t Listen To The People Who Are Agitating For Secession”— President Buhari Tells Muslims And Nigerians (Details below)

Remember that there have been recent calls for secession by a few section of people in the Southern and the Western parts of the country.

A Yoruba activist, Adeyemo Sunday Igboho recently established Oduduwa Republic despite several Yoruba people clearly stating that all they want is united Nigeria.

Also, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has also been leading his secession group to agitate for Biafra Republic.

While reacting to this, the president of the Federal Republic Ofnl Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, urged Nigerians especially the Muslims to turn deaf ears to what Nnamdi Kanu, Sunday Igboho and other secessionists are planning to do.

President Muhammadu Buhari also advised the Muslims never to listen to these set of secessionists but to continually work hard for the unity of the country.

While speaking during his Ramadan message which was made available by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, to journalists and newsmen, President Muhamadu Buhari advised Nigerian Muslims to exercise tolerance and patience and reject voices that seek to divide the country.

Buhari also reacted to the recent attacks by some terrorists groups, he said that all security agencies are ready to protect all citizens of the country.

The Mr President has continued to show his resolve to keep Nigeria as one nation and people like Sunday Igboho, Nnamdi Kanu and others should drop their unrealistic agitations and work towards ensuring unity in Nigeria.

As this country is experiencing a hard time, we citizen have a role to play in bringing our nation back by abiding to the laid down rules, reducing rate of protesting and so many more.
