The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has vowed not to allow Fulani take over Ebonyi State.
Edujandon.com reports that the IPOB leader was reacting to the killing of some Ebonyi residents by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

Reacting specifically to a report that qouted Governor David Umahi as lamenting the betrayal of Fulani, Nnamdi Kanu said the Eastern Security Network (ESN) won’t allow the state go the same way as Kwara.
The IPOB leader claimed that the Yoruba are the true owners of Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, before it was taken over by the Fulani caliphate.

He wrote: “Afonja said the same thing after he unwittingly & foolishly surrendered Yoruba Illorin Kwara State to his Fulani friends.

“Today, Yoruba the true owners of Illorin are effectively Fulani caliphate slaves.

“ESN won’t allow Ebonyi go same way.”

Edujandon.com reports that Governor Umahi had accused Fulani herdsmen of killing 15 persons in the state on Monday night.
Speaking on Tuesday at Obegu, in the Ishielu Local Government Area of the state, Umahi said the herdsmen allegedly perpetrated the mayhem carrying AK-47.

The Ebonyi governor urged security agents to fish out the herdsmen behind the killings.

Governor Umahi also revealed that he knows the sponsors of the herdsmen, vowing to expose them to the authorities.

He said, “I got a piece of very shocking news this afternoon about the attack on about four communities of Nkalaha, Obegu, Amaezu and Umuhuali in Ishielu Local Government Area of the state by AK-47 herdsmen that came yesterday (Monday) and killed 15 of members of these communities.”
