Another Nigerian Soldier Fighting Boko Haram Commits Suicide In Borno

Kila Jima, a Nigerian soldier reported to be fighting notorious Boko Haram insurgents has taken his own life.
According to Sahara Reports, Kila who is a corporal in the Army’s 152 Battalion, Banki shot himself in the head with his rifle on Sunday, April 10..



It was gathered that Kila shown some signs of being depressed before he committed suicide with his gun. His remains has been deposited at the military mortuary in Maiduguri.

This is not the first time a soldier has taken his own life. A number of officers fighting the terrorists in the North East have committed suicide. Recall that in March, Bello Useni with the Nigerian Army School of Armour in Bauchi ended his own life.


In other news, a lance corporal linked to the Army’s 27 Task Force Brigade in Buni Gari, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe state, committed suicide at his duty post in September 2020.

This comes barely 48 hours after South African hip-hop rapper AKA’s newly engaged fiancee Nelli Tembe committed suicide by allegedly jumping out of a building in the early hours of Sunday, 11 April.

Last month, fans of the rapper were so excited after he took to social media to announce that he has decided to take the next step with his 22-year-old fiancée, Nelli Tembe, by paying her lobola.

Her demise still remains a big shock to her fans and the rapper himself.
