The Nigerian police force arrested some of the peaceful protesters who staged a protest at the Lekki Toll Gate. The arrest included Instagram celebrity, Mr. Macaroi, and singer Idahams.
Taking to his Twitter page, Davido reacted to the reports of the arrest of the “Jowo” hitmaker. He described the actions of the Nigerian police as heartless. In another tweet, Davido condemned the position and the office of the Lagos State Government saying that the government has lost its dignity.
