We Are Living In A Shithole, We Can’t Continue Like This – Falz Reacts To The Arrest Of Mr Macaroni At Lekki Tollgate
Singer Falz has reacted to the arrest of peaceful protesters at the Lekki tollbooth on Saturday, February 13..
Young Nigerians decided to protest against the reopening of the tollbooth following the alleged killing of protesters on October 20, 2020.
However, on Friday, February 12, some Internet users shared photos and videos of police officers stationed at the toll booth to stop the protest and arrest the protesters.
Speaking about the arrest of comedian Macaroni and other protesters, the Bop Daddy singer took to his Twitter page to rant about the government.
According to Falz, he is tired of facing it and handling it. Noting that we are not living in a good country, the singer stated that Nigerians cannot continue to live as they currently are.
Below is his tweet;
I am tired of just coping. I am tired of just managing. This is a fucking shithole we are living in and we simply cannot continue like this
