Tension in Nigeria as Yoruba And Hausa Traders Are Involved in a Bloody Clash (Photos below)
There an ongoing clash between Yoruba and Hausa communities in Ibadan, Oyo state and the fight is currently bloody as thugs reportedly hacks people who don’t speak Yoruba.
According to reports, the incident occurred following the burning of Sasa Ibadan yesterday, February 13 as houses and shops were targeted in a clash between Hausa and Yoruba.
Also, an eyewitness revealed that the clash reportedly started after an Hausa man stabbed a Yoruba cobbler on Thursday, as a result of a misunderstanding and that the cobbler was rushed to the hospital but later declared dead on Friday morning.
The ethnic fight has heightened as one of Dangote’s trucks was reportedly burnt due to the ongoing fight.
