Biafra
Igbos Should Forget About Biafra And Embrace One Nigeria Because If Biafra Is Actualized, Many Igbos Will Turn Slave In Their Own Country
The agitation for Biafra all began when the Igbos suspected Nigeria’ s harsh military government, which governed Late Lieutenant Colonel Odumegwu Ojukwu and other non- Igbo diplomats of the region to found the Republic of Biafra on May 30, 1967, including various states of Nigeria (having related origin).
Following the footstep of the Biafran warlord Late Odumegwu Ojukwu, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not giving up as the agitation, hope, and future of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) is on.
I have a strong feeling that if Biafra becomes a reality, it might open a hornets’ nest as many people will go begging to survive.
Being named a country or a nation comes with a series of challenges and how ready are the Igbos when it comes to Biafra. A normal Igbo man can clarify what Biafra is all about or name the states that make up the map of Biafra.
Certainly, the Igbos are recognized to be business people and are outstanding traders in any area they discover themselves. They oversee the market space and it is said that there is no market in the Nigerian hemisphere that you won discover an Igbo man trading successfully, and I give them an homage for that.
The Igbos making up to about 24% of the Nigerian community have a ton of wealthy and popular men. Those wealthy men have large and flourishing industries out Igbo land, and the fulfillment of Biafra will put the income of such ones in danger.
Lagos as the heart of Nigeria is compressed with various business- minded Igbo people, and if Biafra should come, how are they going to survive?
The realization of Biafra might be destructive and could be able of turning Igbos into slaves to many countries. For the growth of the Igbos, they’ re to plan and expect for the worse if the dream for Biafra becomes a reality.
