He is known to be an American character best known for his role in The Shield. His name is Michael Andrew Jace. In 2014 he was sentenced to 40 years of life imprisonment for shooting his wife named April Jace.

On the evening of May 19, 2014, Michael Andrew Jace was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department after he shoots his wife at home.


According to some sources, this man texted his wife, April Jace, in a text message that he had left their home but that he was actually waiting for her with a loaded gun. When his wife arrived, Michael Jace shot her within sight of their sons, 8 and 5 at that time.

After the shooting, this man called the police himself and said he has shot his wife. When the police came his wife, April, was dead as a result of the gunshot wounds.


After being questioned by police regarding his wife’ s death, Jace confessed to the shooting and he was arrested on May 20, 2014, and two days later charged with murder.

This man was found guilty of second- degree murder. On June 10, 2016, he was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison. After he committed this crime and before he was sent to jail, he felt sorry and according to him, there was not a justification for his action.


He even told the court that he had no excuse for his action. As of now, he is locked away at the Corcoran State Prison in the United States of America.
