CHRISTIANITY OR STUPIDITY? See What This Christian Sister Did After Her Christian Brother Drugged, Raped Her, You Won’t Believe It

One of the things Christians are taught is the art of forgiveness and most Christians just believe that regardless of what happens, Christians are supposed to let go and let God.

The question is; should this apply to every situation?

Take for one the story of this young Christian sister in Lagos who painfully narrated her ordeal on how she became a rape victim.

She was raped by someone she least expected – her fellow brother in Christ.

The most painful part of it for Precious was the fact that she was deceived by the young man.

She explained that she normally wouldn’t go to his house, but her brother in the Lord pretended to be sick and convinced her into coming to his house.

As a nice girl that she was, she got dressed and went to see him.

She even made plans to cook for her sick friend.

When she got there, the unexpected happened.

She explained her ordeal saying;

“On arriving at his place, I saw him shivering on his couch. His younger brother who was usually around anytime I visited was not around this particular day. I asked after him and he said he (the younger brother) went on an errand. I didn’t suspect anything.

“He told me he had not eaten that day so I went to his kitchen to prepare something for him.

While I was going to the kitchen, he said he bought my favourite juice for me and that I could take it from the fridge. I took the drink. I never knew it had been injected with sedatives.

“After drinking the juice, I started cooking. Later I saw him behind me holding my waist.

I shouted at him and asked what he was doing because he was a church friend. I didn’t expect such behaviour from him.

But despite my reaction, he kept on touching me and at a point, I felt sleepy. I later felt I was being carried in his arms but I had lost all strength.

To cut the long story short, I was raped,”

The next question naturally was if she reported to the police or anyone.

She said she didn’t because the guy begged her and as a Christian, she felt it was best to forgive him.

“I was emotionally brutalized by a so-called friend but I had to let it go as a Christian.

I have since cut off all friendship with him and I wish I never depended on him the way I did,” she said.

Thinking about it, the guy might have begged her and even told her that it was the work of the devil.

As a good Christian, Precious let go and forgave her perpetrator.

However, it was pretty clear that the man planned to rape her and it wasn’t just a spontaneous action of lust. From pretending to be sick to drugging her drink.

Surprisingly, one would think these Christian brothers wouldn’t be involved in things like this but as it is, they aren’t really different.
