Be Careful – See What A Man Saw Inside The Money He Collected From a Roadside Phone seller
A man has narrated his experience with a roadside phone seller hours ago and he made it clear that the phone seller is now nowhere to be found after the incident.
According to the video that this man recorded, he said that he went to buy a phone somewhere in Lagos and a roadside phone seller approached him with some phones and their price tag were interesting. He decided to pick one and they both agreed that he should pay N15,200 for the phone. He reached out to his pocket and counted N1000 in 15 places and added N200 to complete the N15,200. He gave the phone seller the money and he was given the phone.
He decided to check it right there but the person that sold the phone to him suddenly changed his mind and said that he isn’t selling the phone again. The man who bought the phone was surprised that the seller changed his mind, in order to avoid creating a scene in the market, he just returned the phone and requested for his money. He collected his money back but he was shocked to see what he saw inside the money.
As you know that he first counted N15000 and then added N200, he collected back in the same format but he didn’t check it immediately.
He later decided to check the money minutes after collecting it back and he discovered that he has been scammed. Instead of seeing N1000 notes after the N200 note that was used to wrap the money, he only saw cartons of fish that was neatly cut out to look like money.
This man was shocked to see that his money (N15,000) has been exchanged with cartons and he decided to chase down the roadside phone seller but unfortunately, he couldn’t see him again. In the video, he said that everything happened within 2 minutes and he didn’t know how he wasn’t compelled to count or check the money in the presence of the phone seller, it was after he left that he checked it. He warned other people to be careful because these scammers keep coming up with new tactics everyday.
