After attending the church service today, I can’t stop asking my self some several questions. When I got home, I feel like going through my bible to seek some motivational words that will help me carry on with life. As I was reading the Bible, I came across several bible verse which I understood clearly, but along the line I came across a bible verse that got me thinking and wondering at the same time. The Bible Verse is (Matthew 10:34-36).

In the Bible Verse it was clearly written: “Think not that I come to send peace on earth; I come not to send peace but swore”. This particular version still got me worried. Why should it be sword instead of peace. Christianity is a religion that built its foundation with peace and harmony. But reading this bible verse today got me more worried what the Bible means in that verse.

The Verse 35 Continues; “For I came to set a man at Variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother-in-law.” Again I clearly don’t get this. The scripture should be uniting the Christina’s and not separation of families.

Finally the last Verse 36 Says; “And a man foe shall be they of his own household”. This bible verse seems so strange because I clearly don’t see why he came to create a enemy from a man household.

The fact about these verse is that, this is clearly what’s going on in the word today but I’m yet to understand why the scripture wishes this for man race. Please if you are true Christian and you understand what this bible verse means, please explain.
