Details of Solskjaer’s phone call with Jadon Sancho revealed
Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has told Jadon Sancho that his protracted move to Old Trafford is “in the bag”, according to Dagbladet.
Sancho is Solskjaer’s top transfer target this summer, with United keen to bring in another forward before the window closes in October..
The Red Devils have been locked in negotiations with Borussia Dortmund for much of the window, with both sides unwilling to move from their valuations on the player.
Dortmund wants £108million for the former Manchester City star and is willing to block any bids below that.
United believes the price tag is too high, particularly in the current financial climate surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.
However, Solskjaer has remained in regular contact with Sancho throughout the saga and recently informed the player that the deal to bring him to the club is “in the bag
