Over 11,000 People Watched The Wrong PSG vs Bayern Munich Game Last Night

A YouTube channel that live-streamed a 2017 fixture between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich picked up thousands of viewers during Sunday’s Champions League final.

In last night’s clash between the two giants of European football, Hans-Dieter Flick’s side secured victory at the Estadio da Luz thanks to a Kingsley Coman header just before the hour mark..

It was a tight affair for large parts of Sunday’s tie but it all appeared very one-sided to those who tuned in to this live-stream on YouTube, where Robert Lewansdowski opened the scoring with just eight minutes on the clock.

That’s right. Thousands missed out on Coman’s match-winning moment as they unknowingly watched a stream of the tie between PSG and Bayern in the 2017 Champions League group stages, where Corentin Tolisso scored twice in a 3-1 win.

Over 11,000 people watched on as the likes of Frank Ribery and James Rodriguez helped the Bundesliga side top Group B, despite a consolation goal from Kylian Mbappe in the second half. Did they not question why 75,000 fans were present in the stadium?

As you can imagine, there was plenty of reaction on social media to the hilarious incident.
