JUST IN: Flash flood hits Lagos (Photos)
Reports just reaching Edujandon.com are indicating that flash flood waters have swamped portions of the road at Ikeja Along, with traffic backing up all the way to Ile Zik and spilling into side streets as motorists try to avoid the heavily flooded portions of the road..
According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), some of the places in Lagos experiencing flash flood include: Ikeja – Along Lagos Abeokuta Expressway – Ifako and Oworo INW 3MB – Otedola Bridge – Gbagada – Osborne – Alfred Rewane – Iju Road – Abule Egba – Odo Eran/Wemco Junction
This is as a result of the two days none stop rain in Lagos. Many other parts of the state has equally been affected
