LeBron James hits fifth straight 3-Pointer, Lakers bench mobs him immediately (Video)

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was on fire Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs, hitting five straight triples in an incredible stretch in the fourth quarter.

Sure enough, when LeBron hit his fifth consecutive shot from downtown, the Lakers players mobbed him rightfully. Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, however, wasn’t happy.

Perhaps, one could say that LeBron is channeling his inner Kobe Bryant. As the Lakers mourn the passing of the Purple and Gold icon, LeBron vowed to continue his legacy and “keep it going” for the team.
Obviously, The King is doing a great job at that.

While the Lakers have lost their first game since Kobe’s tragic death — against the Portland Trail Blazers — they have since shown a more inspired performance. They beat the Sacramento Kings by double digits in the following game, with LeBron posting a triple-double.

Now, the Lakers made it two wins in a row after blowing out the Spurs, 129-102. LeBron James, for his part, finished with 36 points, seven rebounds and nine assists.
