Abule Egba Pipeline Explosion: Sanwo-Olu’s Condolence Message To Families, Victims
Following Sunday night’s inferno resulting from the Pipeline explosion the sadly rocked the people of Ile Ekpo-Abule Egba area of Lagos which led to the death of five(5) persons, outright destruction of properties worth billions, Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who is in London for the UK-African Investment summit has Monday, sent his condolence message to all the families of the deceased and victims of the fire incident in Lagos.Babajide Sanwo-Olu said;
“My thoughts and prayers are with the families & businesses affected in the unfortunate incident at Abule Egba.”
“We are thankful for the brave members of LASEMA and our fire service that swung into action working all night to reduce the impact. Pipeline Vandals will be shown no mercy.”
“We must work together to ensure man made incidents like Abule Egba are avoided.”
“Security and information gathering along volatile corridors will increase and a stronger synergy with communities must happen. We all have a role to play.”
The Governor who is expected back to Lagos, Nigeria on Thursday this week along with President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to pay condolence visits to the families of the deceased and the site of the fire incident to ascertain what next to do.
He urge all Lagosians and Nigerians to play their roles towards the safety and general security of lives and properties across their various communities as Nigeria belongs to all.
