Reno Omokri Reacts To The Alleged Death Of Leah Sharibu
Following claims that Boko Haram might have killed Leah Sharibu, Reno Omokri has reacted.
Reno Omokri, former aide to the ex president Goodluck Jonathan, has told Nigerians not to conclude over the news of Leah Sharibu’s alleged death.
The claim of her death was made public by an aide worker who was kidnapped by Boko Haram.
Reno omokri said:
“I watched Boko Haram’s video in which one of the abducted aide worker, Grace Taku, alleged things about Leah Sharibu’s state of life. DON’T JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS. I am trying to verify her claims. A journalist with access to Boko Haram DOUBTS the claim. But I’m still investigating”.
However, he further added that the faction claiming that Leah is dead is not the one that kidnapped her:
“I’ve been informed by 2 journalists with access to Boko Haram that the faction claiming Leah is dead is NOT the one that abducted and holds her. I‘m told Leah is ALIVE. I put aside my differences with Gen @MBuhari and VOW not to oppose him going forward if he‘ll #FreeLeahSharibu”
Meanwhile, the Presidency has also reacted to the news of Leah Sharibu’s alleged death as stated by the kidnapped worker.
