Nigeria vs Tunisia: Referee, match officials for AFCON 2019 third-place fixture revealed
The Confederation of African Football (CAF), on Tuesday, named Egyptian Gehad Grisha as the centre referee to officiate Nigeria’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) third-place match against Tunisia.
Grisha became an international referee in 2008 and has featured in every CAF senior competition since 2013.
The 43-year-old will be assisted by Egyptian Mahmoud Ahmed Kamal and Issa Yaya from Chad, while Joshua Bondo will act as the fourth official.
Nigeria will on Wednesday night tackle Tunisia at the Al-Salam Stadium Cairo.
The Super Eagles head to the match after losing 2-1 to Algeria in the semi-final encounter Sunday, while Tunisia was defeated 1-0 by Senegal.
The kick-off time for the match is 8pm.
