Lucas Moura hat-trick sends stunning Spurs to UCL final
Harry Kane is on the pitch, Mauricio Pochettino is crying. Spurs fans are in raptures. But, after a few moments of overcoming the shock, the home faithful laud their young team, many of whom – the outgoing Frenkie de Jong included – are still tearful.
Heartache for Ajax, and their players are in tears on the pitch. Spurs’ players too, are in tears, but they are tears of joy. After going 2-0 down in the first half, Lucas Moura’s hat-trick – the third goal of which came in the sixth minute of added time – has sent Tottenham through to their first ever Champions League final.
