Again, Court Orders The Arrest Of Jay-Jay Okocha Over Tax Evasion
A court has once again issued a warrant for the arrest of Nigerian football legend, Jay Jay Okocha over tax evasion.
An Igbosere High Court in Lagos has again renewed the arrest warrant it issued nearly two years and 11 months ago against ex-Super Eagles captain, Augustine ‘Jay-Jay’ Okocha, for alleged tax evasion, The Nation reports.
Justice Adedayo Akintoye made the renewal following Okocha’s repeated failure to conclude an out-of-court settlement with the Lagos State Government.
Okocha has also failed to appear in court to answer to the charge.
