Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has refused to guarantee that Paul Pogba would remain at the club next season.

Pogba has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer, with the La Liga giants ready to revamp their squad following the return of Zinedine Zidane as manager.

The France midfielder has, himself, admitted that he is keen on playing under Zidane at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Addressing the media on Friday, Solskjaer said: ā€œYou canā€™t guarantee anything in football but, yes, I think Paulā€™s going to be here, heā€™s very determined to succeed at Manchester United.

ā€œHeā€™s done fantastic for us, heā€™s a human being as well and weā€™re all the same ā€“ we want him to do well, and heā€™s a leader in that dressing room and on the pitch for us.

ā€œBut back to if I can guarantee ā€“ I would say yes, I can guarantee [heā€™ll stay], but in life you can never say never, but he will be here as far as Iā€™m concerned.ā€
