Vigilante Member, ‘Scorpion’ Who Died During IPOB Rally In Abia, Buried (Photos)

A security operative who is a member of the ‘Lion Squad’ of the Indigenous People of Biafra, and was recently killed, has been laid to rest. 
 

 

A local vigilante member has allegedly died and been laid to rest after being shot in Umuahia, the Abia state capital.

 

According to multiple online reports, the deceased identified as Bright Nwoye popularly known as Scorpion, was the second in command of Anambra state vigilante group (AVG) and also a member of the “Lion Squad” of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Anambra.

 
 

He was said to have been hit by a stray bullet from soldiers during the recent Jewish protest staged by IPOB members in Umuahia.

 
He reportedly came back from the rally four days ago with a bullet injury day and later passed away on Thursday.

 

The deceased has been laid to rest in his home town in Ikwo, Ebonyi state.
