Jose Mourinho’s three-word farewell to staff at Lowry Hotel ‘home’ (Video)
Manchester United sacked their manager this morning following a miserable campaign which leaves them 19 points off the top
Jose Mourinho has said goodbye to staff at the Lowry Hotel after being sacked by Manchester United on Tuesday.
The Portuguese shook hands with hotel staff and photographers as he left his home of the last 895 days, answering “okay my friend” as he was asked how he was when he climbed into the back of his car.
The Portuguese’s time at Old Trafford came to a halt on Tuesday morning after two and a half seasons.
The 55-year-old failed to wrestle back control after a chaotic season with disputes with several players and an awful run of results which left them way off the pace in the league table.
