Outgoing Ekiti Governor, Fayose Takes To The Streets To Bid Ekiti People Goodbye (Photos)

The outgoing governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State took to the streets of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state capital on Saturday evening to say Thank You and Goodbye to the good citizens.
Meanwhile, wife of the Ekiti State Governor-Elect, Mrs Bisi Fayemi, on Saturday, surprisingly visited the outgoing governor, Ayodele Fayose at the Government House.


The outgoing governor received members of the Inauguration Committee and Transition Committee set up by the Governor-elect, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, who was on a working visit to the Government House.

The visit was aimed at ensuring the success of the October 16 inauguration and comfort of eminent personalities that will grace the occasion.

Led by the wife of the governor-elect, Mrs Fayemi, the committee was received by outgoing Gov. Fayose and some members of his cabinet.

NAN reports that Fayose, who said he was happy to receive the team, restated his readiness to cooperate with the incoming administration.

He disclosed that he would officially hand over the government house tomorrow, Sunday to the state police commissioner, having first handed over the government’s handover notes to the Head of Service on Friday.
