Manchester United will reportedly NOT sack Jose Mourinho this weekend, contrary to reports last night.

The Red Devils have had a season from hell after a number of problems on and off the pitch.

The results have not been good enough this year, with the club currently on a four-match winless streak including losses to West Ham and Derby in the Carabao Cup.

And off the pitch there have been reports streaming out of Manchester of player bust-ups and fallouts.

Those included have been key figures such as Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez, Antonio Valencia, Anthony Martial and even David de Gea.

It has led to explosive reports that United chief Ed Woodward was set to wield the axe this weekend, regardless of the result against Newcastle.

The Mirror reported that Mourinho’s approach has alienated players and staff and that the Old Trafford supremo has simply had enough.

But this morning, senior journalists Dan Roan and Simon Stone have reported the contrary and that The Special One is still safe.

BBC reporter Roan said on Twitter: “My understanding is that Mourinho is not in any imminent danger.
