2019: NairaBet boss, Akin Alabi emerges APC candidate for Egbeda Ona Ara
NairaBet founder, Mogaji Akin Alabi on Thursday emerged as the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency in Oyo State ahead of the 2019 general elections.
Alabi was declared winner of the primary election held in Ibadan, the state capital after other aspirants, Hon Jenrade, Hon Adewale Ishola and Hon Adio, stepped down for him.
Alabi in his Twitter page, @akinalabi while confirming that he had secured the ticket to represent the area, thanked members of the party for their support.
He said, âBREAKING: I have just been declared the winner of the primary election after the other contestants, Hon Jenrade, Hon Adewale Ishola and Hon Adio all stepped down for me.
âI will be APCâs House of Reps candidate for Egbeda/Ona Ara federal constituency next year. Thank you all â Oloye Akin Alabi.â
