Mourinho accuses staff of ‘killing him’, speaks on Juventus
Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has accused the club’s media officer, Karen Shotbolt of ‘killing’ him after the win at Burnley.
Mourinho was asked two questions at the same time following the 2-0 victory at Turf Moor on Sunday.
The former Chelsea boss wanted to answer one about starting midfielder Marouane Fellaini only for press officer Shotbolt to ask him to deal with the other one instead.
But Mourinho said, “You are killing me! It is the only question anyone is going to ask where I can say ‘it was my decision’.”
Mourinho, however, answered the question on Fellaini before going back to an Italian journalist who asked about United’s Champions League draw with Juventus.
To that, the former Real Madrid boss said, “After Liverpool they have probably spent more than anyone this summer.”
