Fake 2 million APC membership: Speaker warns Oshiomhole, says ‘keep off or we deal with you’
The Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Kabiru Mijinyawa, has warned the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole against his alleged plot to include two million fake membership cards into the national register of the party.
Mijinyawa issued the warning during the party’s stakeholders’ meeting in Yola on Monday which had the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha.
The Speaker said he had evidence of a planned inclusion of about 2 million fake APC membership cards into the national register.
He claimed that the move was aimed at giving an advantage to the state Governor, Jibirilla Bindow’s opponent through direct primary.
Mijinyawa warned Oshiomhole to keep off the state or he would be dealt with.
He said, “There are more than 2 million fake APC membership cards in circulation, I have the evidence and will prove it even before the President.
“We’re not afraid of anybody; and what is happening, SGF sir. What I want you to take note of is that some people are claiming they will take those fake cards to our National Chairman who will, in turn, include them in our APC register.
“We will not accept it in Adamawa State; we are telling you with a strong voice to tell Oshiomhole to keep off from Adamawa State, if not we will deal with him; we are ready to fight.”
