Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr rejects Moses’ retirement
Gernot Rohr, head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has refused to accept Chelsea wingback Victor Moses’ retirement from international football.
Recall that Moses has announced about his retirement from international football, saying that he now wants to concentrate on his club career and his family.
Yesterday, the 65-year-old manager has stated that he plans talks with the player over the coming weeks, adding that he is hopeful of getting Moses to return to the fold.
He said: “We have to respect his decision but I will meet with him to discuss it. He is one of the leaders we have in the team and we will like him to be with us and I believe he will give it a second thought.”
