Coach Maurizio Sarri has revealed he intends to sit down with Willian to discuss his Chelsea future.

Willian has been strongly linked with a move away from the Stamford Bridge this summer.

Manchester United are keen on the winger as Jose Mourinho is eager to reunite with the Brazilian.

Barcelona had also been interested in Willian but after three rejected bids, they signed Malcom instead from Bordeaux.

However, when asked about Willian’s future after Chelsea’s penalty shootout loss to Arsenal, Sarri admitted he was unsure.

“Not at this moment, no, because I will see them on Saturday for the first time,” Sarri said.

“I don’t know the situation in this moment. There is no news.”

Sarri is adamant he wants to keep hold of Willian, who along with Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois could leave before the transfer window closes on August 9.

He continued: “Of course. We are talking about top players.

“Every club wants to keep their top players and we are trying to do it.”

He added: “I want to speak to him [Willian] before I answer these questions. I want to speak to him.

“I am not happy about this situation but before I answer, I would like to speak to him.”

Up next, The Blues play Manchester City in the Community Shield on Sunday (3pm).
