Neymar left the Catalan giants for PSG a year ago but has already been tipped to secure a La Liga return.

Real Madrid are keen on having him as they search for Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement.

Deals for Eden Hazard, Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe have been scrapped because they would love the chance to snap Neymar.

Daily Mail UK reports that Barcelona expect Neymar to move to Real at the end of the current campaign, and want to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to keep the Catalan fans happy.

Los Blancos have so far played a waiting game. Even without Ronaldo, club president Florentino Perez feels they have a squad capable of challenging Barcelona for the biggest trophies on offer.

For now, Welsh forward Gareth Bale has been handed the role of Ronaldo but for all of new manager, Julen Lopetegui’s praise, Neymar is the one Perez wants.
