Suspected Killer Of The Daughter Of Ex-Deputy Governor Arrested By Police
A man accused of using his girlfriend for money-making rituals has been nabbed by the police force in Ondo State.
Adeyemi Alao, the boyfriend and suspected killer of Miss Khadijat Oluboyo, daughter of immediate past Deputy Governor of Ondo State has been arrested by the Ondo State Police Command, according to Radio Nigeria.
Khadijat, who was a final year student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, was found dead in her boyfriend’s house, Adeyemi, popularly known as Q.S.
Miss Khadijat who was declared missing for the past six days at the school, was found under the bed of her boyfriend in what was suspected to a money ritual by the boyfriend, Adeyemi Alao popularly known as QS.
It was reported that an herbalist who did the money ritual for Adeyemi instructed him to keep the corpse for seven days but luck ran out of the Abuja-based boyfriend when his younger brother met the decomposing body of Oluboyo’s daughter in mysterious manner and he later reported the incident to the police in Akure.
Confirming the arrest, the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Femi Joseph said the suspected killer was arrested by a team of detectives from the police Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
The PPRO said Adeyemi who was already in the police custody, had been cooperating with the police with relevant information on the circumstances that led to the death of Khadijat Oluboyo.
The police spokesman assured that the case would be thoroughly investigated with a view to establishing facts behind the death of the former deputy governor’s daughter at her boyfriend’s house.
