See 4 Players Real Madrid Are Eyeing As Ronaldo’s Replacements If He Moves To Juventus
Real Madrid football club are eyeing some big names to serve as possible replacements for Cristiano Ronaldo if he leaves for Juventus.
Cristiano Ronaldo could quit Real Madrid for Juventus this summer – and the Spanish giants have four names lined up to replace him.
He’s fed up at earning less than rivals Neymar and Lionel Messi and thinks he can get top dollar in Turin.
Real could decide to stall any move for the Portuguese to Juventus while they get going on a deal for a replacement.
Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla claims PSG superstars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, England hero Harry Kane and Bayern Munich frontman Robert Lewandowski are all being looked at.
However with none of the four having release clauses in their contracts, Real president Florentino Perez will have to splash huge money to get any transfer over the line.
Tottenham have made it clear they don’t have any interest in selling their star players this summer ahead of their move to the rebuilt White Hart Lane while PSG won’t want to lose Neymar just 12 months after his eye-catching switch from Barcelona.
Mbappe is still only on loan from Monaco although that deal is expected to be converted into a permanent £160m deal by the end of the month.
Lewandowski could be the easiest of the four players to sign.
His agent says the Poland striker is up for a new challenge elsewhere, but new Allianz Arena boss Nico Kovac wants him to stick around.
“I called him and gave him my point of view,’ Kovac said. “I look forward to having him in the team.
“He is a great player, a world-class striker who has done a lot for the club and will do a lot in the future.”
