Manchester United board has handed manager, Jose Mourinho funds to sign more players.
United chiefs bowed to pressure from Mourinho following series of public outcry by the Portuguese gaffer.
The former Chelsea boss voiced his concerns over the club’s activities in the transfer market.
United have been able to bring in Fred, Diogo Dalot and reserve goalkeeper, Lee Grant this summer.
The Guardian, Uk, reports that club officials understand the manager’s frustrations over a disappointing pre-season, with 17 first-team players unavailable.
According to the newspaper, they have informed Mourinho that there are still funds at his disposal to spend before the window slams shut, according to the Guardian.
Mourinho had earlier told reporters that he needs a centre-back and an attacking midfield with Leicester City’s Harry Maguire and Ivan Perisic at the top of his wishlist.
