DONE DEAL: Liverpool makes Roma’s Alisson world’s most expensive goalkeeper

It’s official – Liverpool have made Roma’s Alisson the world’s most expensive goalkeeper after signing him on a six-year deal.The Reds have not revealed how much they have paid for the Brazil number one but Roma said the deal is worth up to £66.8m (72.5m euros). 

Liverpool have finally bagged their man as they completed a world-record transfer deal for Alisson.Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards moved decisively to secure Alisson’s services this week after Roma’s asking price dropped and the 25-year-old made it clear that his heart was set on signing for the club.
