Real Madrid players want Bale out of club, blame him for LaLiga failure

The Welsh international could be forced to join Manchester United with Real Madrid players reportedly wanting him to be sold this summer.

Diario Gol reports that Sergio Ramos even supposedly blamed him for their abysmal La Liga campaign.

Real Madrid players feel that Bale’s attitude waned last term amid his troubles with Zinedine Zidane.

Zidane regularly left the forward out, even benching him for the second Champions League final.

The former Tottenham player, however, scored two goals that fired them past Liverpool to the trophy.

The newspaper reports that Ramos feels his lack of effort cost them dearly in La Liga.

Reacting to the report, Red Devils legend, Rio Ferdinand said Bale would be a great signing.

“Now I feel it’s up to him (Bale) to decide what he wants,” Ferdinand wrote on Instagram.

“Some will say he has nothing to prove and I understand that to a certain extent, but does he want to go somewhere and be the main man and take on the full responsibility of a club who want to win?

“Or does he want to remain [at Real Madrid] and continue in the role he is in now, as the supporting cast?”

“Personally I would love to see him come back to the Premier League (preferably with Manchester United) and dominate.

“Write a new chapter as a leader of a club, the go-to guy at all times, the icon. This is what the greats do in all sports not just football, it elevates them.”
