Excited Fans Storm National Mosque In Abuja To Welcome Ahmed Musa (Photos)
It was an exciting time yesterday as eager fans made Ahmed Musa feel special as they thronged the national mosque to snap photos with him.
Super Eagles striker, Ahmed Musa was yesterday mobbed by excited fans as he visited the National Mosque in Abuja to observe the Juma’ah Prayers after returning from the World Cup.
Recall that Musa scored to outstanding goals against Iceland to rekindle Nigeria’s hopes which was later dashed with a 2 – 1 defeat they suffered in the hands of Argentina.
The excited fans posed with him as it took security personnel time tring to control fans who wanted selfies with him by all means.
FIFA has also selected Ahmed Musa’s goal against Iceland as one of the best goals on the ongoing 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The second goal scored by Leicester City striker, Ahmed Musa against Iceland was tipped as one of the contenders for the 2018 World Cup Goal of the Tournament by FIFA.
FIFA has selected the best goals from the first two rounds of games and the Musa’s 75th minute goal against Iceland at the Volgograd Arena on June 22 made the shortlist.
