Video: Police Return Dino Melaye To The National Hospital
After being ordered by the court, police officers have taken embattled senator Dino Melaye to the National Hospital, Abuja.
Following a court order yesterday, officers of the Nigerian police force have returned embattled senator, Dino Melaye to the Abuja National hospital.
Recall that a Senior Magistrates’ Court sitting in Lokoja had refused Dino bail and ordered him to be remanded in police custody.
However, while ruling on Friday, a Kogi State High Court overruled the order of the Magistrates court and o rdered that the senator representing Kogi West be moved to the National Hospital, Abuja.
The Senator has been in the news lately over his squabbles with the Nigerian police. Melaye was arrested by the police over allegations of gun smuggling and arming of political thugs.
