Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah has spoken for the first time since he left the pitch crying in the Champions League final against Real Madrid in Kiev on Saturday.
Salah expressed confidence he will be fit to represent Egypt in the World Cup this summer.

A collision with Sergio Ramos caused the Egyptian a shoulder injury and there have been serious fears he would miss the World Cup.

Salah, who was also made to watch Liverpool lose the final 3-1 to Real Madrid, admitted that it was a “tough” night for him and the team.

Salah wrote on Twitter, “It was a very tough night, but I’m a fighter. Despite the odds, I’m confident that I’ll be in Russia to make you all proud.

“Your love and support will give me the strength I need.”
