Liverpool ace, Mohamed Salah has stated he learnt a lot from Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.
The 25-year-old spent 18 months under Mourinho at the West London club before loan spells at Roma and Fiorentina.

The Egyptian international faces a race against time to be fit for the 2018 World Cup in Russia after sustaining a shoulder injury in Liverpool’s 3-1 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid on Saturday.

The forward said he improved at Stamford Bridge, learning ‘a lot’ from Mourinho.

“I learnt a lot from Jose [Mourinho], from the club,” Salah told ex-team mate, Lampard on BT Sport.

“We would meet each other in Chelsea, and with you [Lampard], you always used to train alone after the training and I saw you do that, I would always come to you and try to improve, and I learned a lot.”

“It was a very tough night, but I’m a fighter,” Salah added.

“Despite the odds, I’m confident that I’ll be in Russia to make you all proud. ‘Your love and support will give me the strength I need.”
