Again, Dino Melaye raises alarm over fresh plan to frame him
Dino Melaye, Senator representing Kogi West, on Monday raised the alarm over an alleged plot to frame him up.
The lawmaker who did not identify the persons involved alleged that they were planting arms in his village house and constituency office in Kabba, Kogi State.
Sharing a photo of his house’s last searched warrant on Instagram, Dino wrote ” Now there is a plan to plant arms In my village house and constituency office in Kabba and incriminate me. We are watchful and waiting.”
Recall that the lawmaker had in April, 2017 allegedly escaped death by the whiskers after gunmen invaded his country home in Ayetoro-Gbede area of Kogi State.
Following the said allegation, the Federal Government in February 2018, filed a two-count charge against the Senator for allegedly giving false information to the police.
He was also accused by the police of running a criminal gang and was arraigned in a Magistrate court in Kogi state on May 3rd.
