US Tycoon And His Wife Admit Having A Threesome With Model Ivana Smit Before She Fell To Her Death
An American cryptocurrency tycoon and his wife have admitted having a threesome with a young model shortly before she mysteriously plunged to her death from their flat’s balcony. Alex and Luna Johnson were among the last people to see Ivana Smit alive and claim her death in December last year was a tragic accident.
The couple have spoken out for the first time over the 18-year-old Dutch model’s death following claims she was murdered.
It was claimed the Johnsons had hosted a booze- and drug-fuelled swingers’ party the night that Ms Smit plunged naked 14 floors from their flat in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Police have said it was a tragic accident, but British private investigators hired by her family, who suspect foul play, say her death should be treated as murder.
Mr Johnson, 33, who is from the US, told the Mail on Sunday he and his Kazakh wife, 31, had sex with Ms Smit for the first time weeks earlier and had a threesome with her the night she died.
The couple said they had been drinking heavily and claim the model had taken drugs.
Mr Johnson, founder of the cryptocurrency firm Everus, said: “This case is an object lesson in how false claims and fake news can come close to destroying people.”
Mrs Johnson added: “When I talk about her death, my hands are shaking, I have a pain in my heart. I feel so sad.
“It’s awful. But because I have been fighting to prove my innocence, I haven’t been able to grieve.”
The Johnsons said they first met Ms Smit at the Prime nightclub in Malaysia’s capital last Halloween and had a threesome at a hotel in early November.
The night before she was found dead the trio had partied together at clubs and then returned to the couple’s flat at the Capsquare Residence in the early hours, the Johnsons said.
Ms Smit’s body had been found about three hours earlier after she had had fallen on to a plastic awning above a sixth floor terrace.
The Johnsons were arrested and released two weeks later without charge.
A post-mortem found Ms Smit had cocaine, alcohol and high levels of PMMA, an amphetamine sometimes sold as ecstasy, in her system.
Police ruled it an accidental death following an investigation and made the same conclusion after the model’s devastated family pushed for another probe. An inquest is due to take place.
The model’s body was flown back to the Netherlands, where a post-mortem found she had suffered bruising some time before her fall.
The private investigators concluded Ms Smit may have been dead or unconscious before she went over the balcony.
The Johnsons have been under a cloud of suspicion despite denying wrongdoing, and say they are living in fear.
Mr Johnson, who has been living in Kuala Lumpur for a decade, claims they have received death threats and someone tried to kidnap their daughter.
