Lagos to host United Nations World Tourism Organisation meeting in June
Lagos State will host the United Nations World Tourism Organisation meeting come June.
The Lagos State Governor
Akinwunmi Ambode revealed this on his Instagram, sharing a photo of himself and the Minister of Communication,
Lai Mohammed.
The meeting, the 61st UNWTO Regional Commission For Africa And Tourism Statistics, is tagged “A Catalyst for Development,” is set to hold on June 4 – June 6.
Ambode wrote:
The Honourable Minister of Information and Culture, Mr. Lai Mohammed was our guest at Lagos House,
Ikeja. Lagos State Government is set to collaborate with the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture to host the United Nations World Tourism Organisation meeting scheduled for June.
