Fani-Kayode warns that World War 3 will happen soon

Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has warned that World War 3 is imminent.
Fani-Kayode was reacting to news that the United States has launched a joint military strike with the UK and France against Syria.

“The carnage begins! The Americans, British and French finally launch air strikes on Syria.

“It is clear to me that we are one step closer to WW3. Much depends on what the Russian response will be.

“If Russia and Iran choose to take a stand and hit back the world will be in trouble,” he tweeted.

US president, Donald Trump, in an address said America had “launched precision strikes” on targets associated with chemical weapons programme of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad.

The strike came in retaliation for a deadly chemical attack, believed to have been launched by the Syrian government, which killed upwards of 80 people in the rebel-held town of Douma.

“This massacre was a significant escalation in a pattern of chemical weapons use by that very terrible regime,” Trump said.
