Alexis Sanchez Reveals Reason Behind His Struggles At Manchester United

What is going on with Alexis Sanchez at Manchester United?
Since his January move from Arsenal, the Chilean has really struggled for form.

He’s scored just once in his 10 appearances in all competitions – a rebound from a missed penalty – and his displays have left a lot to be desired.

Sanchez certainly doesn’t look like a player that was once considered one of the most talented in the Premier League, and he was even dropped for United’s FA Cup tie against Brighton on Saturday.

Meanwhile, a report on Tuesday night suggested that Alexis has ‘isolated” himself at the club.

A Man Utd source even told Daily Mail : “He looks like someone who doesn’t want to be here. The whole thing doesn’t seem right and he looks like a lost boy. It was the same with [Angel] Di Maria.”

So what is really going on with Sanchez at Old Trafford?

Well, whilst on international duty with Chile, Sanchez was asked why he was struggling at the Theatre of Dreams and he revealed all.

“As I am self-demanding, I expected something better,” Sanchez said on Wednesday .

“After my arrival at United, it was hard to change everything very quickly.

“I even hesitated to come here [with the national team], I had asked permission to miss these games, but then I thought better and spoke with Claudio [Bravo] and told him that we should all be united to start things well.
