Alaafin of Oyo welcomes another set of twins with last wife

Few days ago, we reported that the Alaafin of Oyo , Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, welcomed a set of twin girls with one of his wives, Memunat.

The Oyo empire is getting more congratulatory messages, as it has been gathered that the 80-year-old Alaafin of Oyo, reportedly welcomed another set of twins boys today with his last wife, Olori Badirat Adeyemi.

Not many people know that Alaafin of Oyo, HIM Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi 111 has lovely children that are doing wonderfully well for themselves, across different sectors, apart from the likes of Prince Akeem Adeyemi a.k.a Skimeh, the two-term Chairman, Atiba Local Government and the present honourable representing Afijio/Oyo East/ Oyo West/ Atiba Federal Constituency in the House of Reps; Princess Adetutu Adeyemi-Akhigbe, the Honourable Commissioner of Culture in Governor Ajimobi’s first term and Princess Folasade Adeyemi, a cultural ambassador and C.E.O, Arewa House of Culture. These three seem to be the most prominent out of Alaafin’s children.

PRINCE BABATUNDE ISRAEL ADEYEMI

The crown-prince of Oyo Babatunde could be best described as humility personified. He is a professional to the core; a qualified lawyer and graduate of Utman-Dan-Fodio University, Sokoto. Prince Babatunde is a pastor in his fifties and happily married with lovable kids. He works in

the legal department of the Oodu’a Investment Limited. His wife, Omolara Adeyemi is a Justice of Oyo State High Court.

PRINCESS FOLASADE ADEYEMI

Arewa Omoba as she is fondly called is the brain behind most of the cultural activities in Oyo. She is the C.E.O Arewa House of Culture, a company which is into cultural promotions and seminars. She schooled in the United States of America, but deeply rooted in Yoruba culture and tradition. She is also a politician and women leader in Oyo.

PRINCE SEGUN ADEYEMI

Prince Segun Adeyemi works in the Administration Department of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo. He is a Political Science graduate of the Premier University, University of Ibadan (U.I).

PRINCESS TAIBAT ADEYEMI-AGABA

She grew up and went to school in Los Angeles, U.S.A. She attended Los Angeles City College, West Carolina precisely. Her experience as a social worker who have been practising for 10 years is an additional score to her credit. She is also a businesswoman who relocated back to Nigeria few years back.

PRINCE ABISOYE ADEYEMI

As his name connotes, he is the first male child to have been born on the throne. M.C Loyo as he is popularly known works with the Nigerian Customs. He graduated from the School of Surveyor, Oyo.

PRINCESS JUMOKE ADEOYE-ADEYEMI

She is a graduate of University of Ilorin. She is a businesswoman and happily married.

PRINCE ADELEKE LUKMAN ADEYEMI

He graduated from the University of Ilorin too and did his Masters in the U.K, in Economics. He is an astute banker and a consultant with First Bank Plc.

PRINCESS ADETUTU ADEYEMI-AIGBE

The former Commissioner for Culture in Oyo State in Gov. Ajimobi’s first term is a product of University of Ilorin. She proceeded to the U.K for her Masters and made First Class. She is a professional in politics.

PRINCESS FATIMOH ADEYEMI.

She lives in U.S.A, Houston Texas. She is a Literature graduate of Texas State University. She is a social worker too.

HON. (PRINCE) AKEEM ADEYEMI

The honourable member representing Afijio/Oyo East/Oyo West/Atiba Federal constituency, Prince Akeem Adeyemi needs little or no introduction. He has served as Chairman, Atiba Local Government for almost eight years before his present political assignment. He is a Geology graduate of the University of Benin.

She is a legal practitioner and a graduate of University of Ife. She is doing well for herself and making the family name proud.

Bambino as he is popularly called, is a professional photographer in the United Kingdom. In fact, he is running an upscale studio over there. He studied Media Studies and Philosophy in a London university.

PRINCESS ADEBISI AMINAT ADEYEMI

She runs AMEF Beauty Store, at Ajoke Plaza in Ibadan and a graduate of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State. She is presently running her Masters programme at the University of Ibadan (U.I).

PRINCESS ADETEJU RUKAYAT ADEYEMI

She is a graduate of the BOWEN University, Iwo and a Media Practitioner. She works at the federal College of Education (Special), Oyo. She is also running her masters degree at U.I.

PRINCE KEHINDE ADEYIMIKA ADEYEMI

He is a graduate and works with Fisolak Global Resources Limited.

PRINCE TAIWO ADEYEMI

Taiwo too is a graduate and works with National Examination Council (NECO) in Oyo State.
