White Woman Celebrates Her Wedding Anniversary to Nigerian Man With Use of Local Phrases
This may sound unbelievable, but it is just true as the fact that the Nigerian government appoints people that are no longer in existence into cabinet. A white lady took to twitter to celebrate her wedding anniversary to a Nigerian man from Anambra State.
What caught twitter users’ attention is the catchy punchlines and local phrases that she used to praise and appreciate her husband. She called him names as “Ogiri in her soup”, “the red oil to her yam” and so on.
She wrote:
”The best thing that ever happened to me. You are the red oil to my yam, the ogiri in my soup and the ube for my corn! Thank you for making this bold step five years ago! Happy anniversary dim oma! Afurum gi nanya ‘.
