“I Talk To Her Ghost And She Visits Me In Bed” – Father Of Amy Winehouse Who Died 6 Years Ago Shocks The World
The father of one of the world’s most acclaimed singers, Amy Winhouse, who died some years ago, has said the woman still visits him at home.
Amy Winehouse: Famed for Back to Black and Frank, the singer’s dad Mitch said he sees her ghost
Late singer, Amy Winehouse’s father has revealed the ghost of the tragic singer still visits him at the family home.
According to a report by Daily Star UK, Mitch Winehouse claimed he is still being visited by the Rehab star’s spirit at the property in Kent.
He revealed he can see her face and even tries to speak to her during the incredible encounters.
Mitch claimed there are “strange happenings” – adding: “I could not begin to tell you how much she is around”.
And she even comes and sits on the end of his bed.
Amy died of alcohol poisoning aged just 27 back in 2011 after a long battle with substance abuse.
“Her spirit comes and sits on the end of my bed. She just sits there and it looks just like her with her beautiful face and she looks at me,” Mitch told The Sun.
“I say to her, ‘Are you all right?’ because I get nervous with her being there.
“But it is comforting in a way to know she is here and around me.”
The still-heartbroken dad revealed Amy’s ghostly activities also take the form of a bird that visits him and his wife Jane.
Mitch said the blackbird is identical to the one Amy’s had tattooed on her arm and flew into the kitchen window.
“It came and sat in the middle of us and sang. I do now see blackbirds all the time,” he added.
Amy was known for her deep and soulful voice which saw both her records Frank and Back to Black scoop critical acclaim.
She had a very public battle with substance abuse, suffered relapses, and got into trouble with the police for violence.
Tragically, she was found dead at her home in Camden on July 23, 2011 – with cops finding three bottles vodka in her room, and the corner discovering she was more than five-times the drink-drive limit.
Mitch went on; “After three years I was thinking maybe that one day she will come back in some shape or form, and she does come back — not physically, but spiritually — all the time.”
He founded the Amy Winehouse Foundation to support young people suffering with drug and alcohol abuse.
